SEO stands for Search Engine Optimization, or the process of making your site stand out to search engines. The Admin includes a few places where you can change the SEO settings of your site as a whole, and for pages or posts individually. Making use of these fields can improve the quality and quantity of traffic your site gets from people using search engines. Personalizing the content on your site and checking if you qualify for a Google My Business listing can also help more people find your site.

This article will focus on helping you find the SEO setting options. Recommendations will not be made, simply because each site is different, and will benefit from different practices. Site-wide SEO Settings

You can access the site-wide SEO setting options from your site Admin.

1. Log in to the Admin of your site. If you need help finding the right place to do so, follow the instructions in the Log In article.
2. On the Dashboard, click on SEO Settings in the left menu.
   
   
   
   
3. To make any changes to this page, either type in the provided field or select or deselect the option you wish to change.
4. Scroll down to the bottom of the page and click the Save SEO Settings button to save your changes.
   
   

Page Specific SEO Settings

1. Log in to the Admin of your site. If you need help finding the right place to do so, follow the instructions in the Log In article. 
2. Both pages and blog posts have a place that you can edit SEO settings for that page.
   
   • To edit settings on a page, go to Theme Editor>Pages in the left menu, or click the All Pages quick tile on your admin Dashboard.
     
     
     
     
   • To edit settings on blog posts, go to Theme Editor>Blog Posts in the left menu, or click the Blog Posts quick tile on your admin Dashboard.
     
     
3. In the Page or Post Manager, choose the page or post on your site that you want to edit. Click on the page Title or the Edit icon to open the Editor for that page.
   
   
   

    

4. Scroll down to the SEO Settings section at the bottom of the Page Editor.
5. To make any changes to this page, type in the provided field you wish to change.
6. Click the Save SEO Settings button to save your changes.
