Every site displays various social media links including Facebook, Twitter, Google, LinkedIn, Pinterest, Instagram and YouTube. Follow these instructions to modify the links to fit your needs. The social media links will be found in either the header or the footer of your website.
Change Your Social Media URL's
Log in to the Admin of your site. If you need help finding the right place to do so, follow the instructions in the Log In article.
Go to Theme Editor>Theme Options in the left menu.
Click on the General Options tab found at the top of the page
Scroll down to the Social Network section where you will find edit boxes to enter each social media URL. On some themes, the URL's will be defaulted to the home page for the site. Edit the URL to point to the desired page.
To remove the social media icon from your website, simply delete all text from the associated edit box. For example, if you do not have a Pinterest page that you would like your clients to be directed to, then remove all text in the Pinterest URL edit box, and the Pinterest icon will no longer be displayed on your website.
With a URL entered in Pinterest Edit box: With all text deleted in Pinterest Edit box:
To save your changes, scroll down to the bottom right corner of the page and click the Save Setting button.
Select View Live Site in the upper left of the page or refresh a currently open page to view your changes.
