Use this utility to find the number of Full Time and Full Time Equivalent employees by month or pay period for a specified date range. The program looks at the Qty entered for all Pay type items.
To Display Totals by Month
Select Utilities>Payroll>Employee FT and FTE Count.
Enter the desired Payroll Start Date and Payroll End Date.
Select the desired Hours Type and click Display Count.
ACA
FT (Full Time)—The number of employees who had 120 or more hours in a month is displayed in the FT column. Any hours over 120 for these employees are ignored.
FTE (Full Time Equivalent)—The number of full time equivalent employees is displayed in the FTE column. This is calculated by totaling the hours for all employees with less than 120 hours for a month, then dividing that total by 120. The result is NOT rounded.
SBA
FT (Full Time)—The number of employees who had 160 or more hours in a month is displayed in the FT column. Any hours over 160 for these employees are ignored.
FTE (Full Time Equivalent)—The number of full time equivalent employees is displayed in the FTE column. This is calculated by totaling the hours for all employees with less than 160 hours for a month, then dividing that total by 160. The result is NOT rounded.
Other—Enter the desired of number of Weekly FT Hours. The program will multiply the entered hours by four to calculate monthly full time hours.
FT (Full Time)—The number of employees who had the calculated number or hours or more in a month is displayed in the FT column. Any hours over the calculated amount for these employees are ignored.
FTE (Full Time Equivalent)—The number of full time equivalent employees is displayed in the FTE column. This is calculated by totaling the hours for all employees with less than the calculated number for a month, then dividing that total by the calculated monthly full time hours. The result is NOT rounded.
To Display Totals by Payroll Check Date
Select Utilities>Payroll>Employee FT and FTE Count.
Check the Show Total by Payroll Check Date box.
Select Pay Frequency from the drop-down list.
Enter the desired Payroll Start Date and Payroll End Date.
Select the desired Hours Type and click Display Count.
ACA
FT (Full Time)—The number of employees who had 30 or more hours in a week (or 60 biweekly) is displayed in the FT column. Any hours over 30 (60 biweekly) for these employees are ignored.
FTE (Full Time Equivalent)—The number of full time equivalent employees is displayed in the FTE column. This is calculated by totaling the hours for all employees with less than 30 hours for a week (60 biweekly), then dividing that total by 30 (60 biweekly). The result is NOT rounded.
SBA
FT (Full Time)—The number of employees who had 40 or more hours in a week (or 80 biweekly) is displayed in the FT column. Any hours over 40 (80 biweekly) for these employees are ignored.
FTE (Full Time Equivalent)—The number of full time equivalent employees is displayed in the FTE column. This is calculated by totaling the hours for all employees with less than 40 hours for a week (80 biweekly), then dividing that total by 40 (80 biweekly). The result is NOT rounded.
Other—Enter the desired of number of Weekly FT Hours. The program will multiply the entered hours time four to calculate monthly full time hours.

Close—Select Close to close the window.
Print—Select Print to print the results.
Export Summ—Select Export Summ to export the results as they are displayed to a Comma Delimited file, a Tab Delimited file or an Ascii file.
Export Detail—Select Export Detail to export the supporting details for results as they are displayed to a Comma Delimited file, a Tab Delimited file or an Ascii file. Employees and the totals hours are listed in alphabetical order by last name for each month.
