E-file 940 Delete Records

You can delete company records from a 940 file if necessary.

Select Reports>Electronic Tax Reports>Efile 940 Delete Records.

1. Open the directory containing the desired 940 file.
2. Highlight the desired file and click Open.
   
3. Check the box in the Delete column for all desired records.
4. Click the Delete button on the upper right side of the window.
   
5. Click Yes to complete the deletion.
   
   
   

Select Reports>Electronic Tax Reports>Efile 940 Summary Report to review the remaining records.

Print E-file 940 Delete Records

Click Print to print the E-file 940 Delete Records grid. The printout from this page is designed for internal office use. It is not the same as the formal print format accessible through the Reports>Report List reports. Set the Print Offset option (found under the options icon at the top of the E-file 940 Delete Records window) to a higher number if columns are printing narrower than seen on the screen or a lower number if columns are printing wider than seen.
