E-file 941 Delete Records

The data for one or more companies may be deleted from a 941 file if necessary.

Select Reports>Electronic Tax Reports>Efile 941 Delete Records.

1. Open the directory containing the desired 941 file.
2. Highlight the desired file and click Open. The Payer Name, FEIN, Total Wages, Tax Withheld, and Balance Due are displayed for each company in the selected file.
   
3. Check the box in the Delete column for all desired records.
4. Click the Delete button on the upper right side of the window.
   
5. Click Yes on the dialog screen to complete the deletion.
   

Select Reports>Electronic Tax Reports>Efile 941 Summary Report to review the remaining records.

Print E-file 941 Delete Records

Click Print to print the E-file 941 Delete Records grid. The printout from this page is designed for internal office use and is not the same as the formal print format accessible through the Reports>Report List reports. Set the Print Offset option (found under the options icon at the top of the E-file 941 Delete Records window) to a higher number if columns are printing narrower than seen on the screen or a lower number if columns are printing wider than seen. 

Export E-file 941 Delete Records

Click Export to export the E-file 941 Delete Records grid to a Comma delimited, Tab delimited, or Ascii file.
