You can use the Check Register to view all transactions that have been made to checking type accounts. Select Activities>View Check Register. Click the icon on the Quick Check Data Bar or select Edit>Commands>Screen Options when the Quick Check window is open. See View Check Register Options for a list of options available to the Quick Check window. The Check Register window will show all transactions that have been made that affect the selected Account within the range selected in the View Period option. Only Checking type accounts are available for selection in the Account field. To sort the data, click on the column header that you want to sort by. Click once to sort in ascending order, or click again to sort in descending order. Double-click on any row to open the original window where a transaction was made (for example, Quick Check or Deposit). Print—The Check Register can be printed by clicking the Print button. Total Payments—This is the total amount for payments within the selected View Period. Total Deposits—This is the total amount for deposits within the selected View Period. Click the icon on the View Check Register Data Bar or select Edit>Commands>Screen Options when the View Check Register window is open. The settings you select control what checking account transactions will be displayed. Accounting Year to Date - Includes all checking account transactions for the current accounting year. Select the account that will always be selected in the Bank Account field when the View Check Register window opens. Print Offset—Due to printer variations, column widths do not print the same as they look on the screen. Use Print Offset to adjust for these differences. Increase the number to increase the printed column width and decrease the number to decrease the width. Once this is set for your system, columns will print as they appear on your screen.
