Log in to the Admin of your site. If you need help finding the right place to do so, follow the instructions in the Log In article.
Go to Theme Editor>Pages in the left menu or click the All Pages quick tile on your admin Dashboard.
Add a New Page
After accessing the Page Manager, you can easily add new pages to your site.
Click the Add New button at the top of the window.
Type a title for the new page in the text box where it says Enter Page Title Here. This title will be how the page will be listed in the Page Manager.
Next, you will need to choose how you want to create a new page. There are two options:
Use Page Builder—A new page will be created with one Advanced Text Box, where you can add any text or media that you would like. The new page will have your site Header and Footer, but will be empty otherwise until edited. The Header and Footer will not be visible in the PageBuilder.
Use Template Fields—A new page will be created that copies the sections and formatting of an existing page. If you select this option, a drop-down menu will appear allowing you to select the page that you want to copy. The new page will not have any content until edited, but it will have spots in the Page Editor for text and images in the same spots as the original page. To decide which page to copy, look at the pages on your live site. Find the page that has a layout that is most similar to the page you want to create.
Click the green Create button. If you are successful, the Page Editor will open for the page you just created. If you click outside of the Add New Page box, or click the X in the corner of the box before clicking the Create button, it will close without creating the page.
Note: Pages are Published or Drafts. We call this the Publishing Status of the page. New pages start as Drafts by default. Draft pages can be previewed but are not included on your site until they are Published and linked to. Any pages you create will need to be published manually. This ensures that they are only visible to your site users when you are ready. You can change the status of any page of your site from the Page Editor by choosing the appropriate status from the drop-down menu, which is found under the page Permalink. Click the Update button located on the right of the Editor to save your changes. Notice that the Publish box directly above the Update button reflects the changed value in the Status field. After a page is published it can be added to your site menu by following the instructions in the Edit Menus article.
Once your site has been created, you can Edit Text, Change Images, and set your SEO Settings from the Page Editor by following the instructions in the linked articles.
Delete a Page
In the Page Manager, you can delete pages that have been created on your site.
Find the page that you want to delete in the list.
Select the page in the checkbox to the left of the page Title, and then click the Delete icon on the right side of the row under Action. Or simply click the Delete icon on the row of the page you wish to delete.
Note: If you select a page and then click the Delete icon in the row of a different page, the page in the row of the Delete icon you selected will be deleted.
A Confirmation box will open. If you are sure you want to delete the page, click the blue Confirm button. If you do not want to delete the chosen page, click Cancel.
After the page is deleted, it will be moved to the Trash folder. To delete the page permanently, go to that folder by clicking on the Trash (#) link located at the top of the page under the Add New button, then follow steps 1–3 again. You may choose to leave the page in the Trash folder, in doing so, you will be able to access the Page Editor of that page to copy any text saved there, but the page will be removed from the Menu and links on your live site. At this time, pages in the Trash folder are unable to be recovered.
Sort by Page Status
You may wish to sort pages by their status.
Pages are listed under the Pages title by their status. Click on any Status option to view only pages of that type. Each status option will have a number in parentheses next to the Status, indicating how many pages you have of each type.
All—Includes all published and draft pages. This view does not include pages that have been deleted.
Published—Only includes published pages.
Draft—Only includes draft pages.
Trash—Only includes pages that have been deleted.
Note: Once a status has been clicked, the list will update to show only pages of the status type that you have chosen. If you have no pages of a particular type, you will not be able to sort pages by that Status, or see that Status in the options at the top of the PageManager. It will show up when you have pages with that status.
Search for a Page
If you have a large number of pages on your site, it might be more efficient to find a page by searching for key words in the page Title.
You may search for pages within the selected Status view. Click on the Status options at the top of the page under the heading Pages to select the view to search. Type a part or all of the Title of the page in the Search box.
Note: This search function will only search the titles within your selected Status view. The search will not include text on the pages; it will only search the page titles.
Press the Enter key or click on the Search icon. Only pages that meet your search criteria will show up in the page listing.
