LaCerte® Software is copyrighted material of Intuit®.

1. Before exporting to LaCerte for the first time, go to Setup>Options/System Default Paths tab and set the Value on the File>Exports>Tax Software>Lacerte. This is where all LaCerte export files will go for all clients.
2. Select File>Exports>Tax Software>Lacerte.
3. Verify the Tax Year and Type.
   
   
   
   
   
4. For each account enter the appropriate Tax Code, Series, and/or Prefix from the Lacerte Worksheets (shown below).
   
   
   
5. Click Export to export the file.
   
   
   

Delete Mapping

Click the Delete Mapping button to clear all of Tax Code selections.

Note: Select Cancel to before saving any changes to close the window and retain the original mapping.

Import Mapping

1. If you have already mapped a similar client with the same entity, you can copy that mapping from the other file. To do so, click Select Client.
   
2. Select the appropriate company from the drop-down list.
   
   The window will fill out the mapping with matching account codes. Review what is in the list to make sure it is correct. Only map unmapped accounts.
