If your accountant has turned this feature on, you may create an unlimited number of employee portals. Once the Employee Profile is complete, the employee record will appear under Management > Employees in the left menu. The employee will remain in a Pending status until they create their login credentials and activate their account. If the employee does not create their login within two days of receiving the notification email, a reminder email will automatically be sent. If the employee still has not created their login after the reminder email, you may manually send another reminder by clicking the “Nudge Employee” link located above the Employee list. The Employee list can be accessed by navigating to Management > Employees from the left menu. The employee will receive an email notification indicating their Secure Portal has been created. The email will include a link to create the login credentials. The Employee can use this link for steps to Reset Login Password.
Client Employee Portals
Multiple departments may be selected for an employee.
Departments are used to direct uploaded documents to the appropriate department, ensuring they are routed to the correct staff members for review or processing.
During the client’s Upload Files process, this setting enables the field “Allow Access of this file to,” allowing the client to share the uploaded file with the selected employee.
During the client owner's Download process, this setting enables the field “Allow Access of this file to,” allowing the file being downloaded to be shared with the selected employee.

The Client Employee portals can be deleted by the Office owner and staff with Client Maintenance rights.
