You can upload employees and checks from programs other than Full Contact Accounting to PayPortals using the following steps. Select PayPortals from the dashboard. Click the Action icon for the desired client. (You can filter for a specific client by typing the first few letters of the company or owner name in the Search box) You can create employee portals by uploading a tab delimited file. The first row is a header row and must contain the following titles: EmpID, Name, Email. Each employee record must be on a single row. Each row must contain the Employee Portal ID (a number containing at least five digits), Employee Name, and employee email address. The filename must be the VO Client Id followed by "Emp List" (Example: 12345A4321 Emp List.txt). You can upload pdf files for one or all employees an one time. The filename must be in the correct format, the employee portal ID followed by a capital E followed by the VO Client ID. Using the same VO Client Id as the example above, if the employee portal id is 1122323 the file name must start with 112233E12345A4321. (Example: 112233E12345A4321 11-20-2020 Pay Stub. Select the desired Delivery Date. An email notifying the employee that the payroll check has been uploaded will be sent to the email address in the portal on the selected date. You may choose anything from 0-Deliver now to 7-Deliver on XX date. Click in the gray box to browse to the folder containing the files to be uploaded or drag and drop them from an explorer windows. Click Continue to upload the files.
