Create an Admin User

Use File>Admin>Create Admin User only if no Admin user exists, or if you do not remember the login User Name and Password.  The Code required to create an Admin user can only be obtained from Dillner's Support and is only good for the day that it is issued.

1. Select File>Admin>Create Admin User.
   
2. Enter the Serial Number and Activation Code as provided by support.
3. Click OK.
   
4. Enter the desired Admin user name.
5. Leave the User Properties field blank.
6. Enter the desired password in the Password and Confirm Password fields.
7. Click OK to save the new user.

Admin users are users with rights which are above regular users. They have access to the Admin menu providing them with the ability to create and edit users and user Groups. However, an Admin user has fewer rights than an Accountant user and does not have access to the Accountants menu or many of the Setup>System Options tabs.

 An Admin user is usually the owner or a supervisor of an accounting office.
