Set File Password

Use Set File Password to add a password to a specific client file for additional security.

Important: You must be logged in as the Admin user and be working inside the client file you want to protect.

Add a Password to a Client File

1. Open the client file you want to protect.
2. Select Admin > Set File Password.
   
   
    
3. Enter the password you want to use in the Password and Confirm Password fields.
4. Select OK to save the password.

There are no restrictions on the password you choose.

Once a password has been assigned to a client file, any user who selects that client will be prompted to enter the password before the file can be opened.

Important: Make sure authorized users have access to the password. Without the correct password, the client file cannot be opened.
