FCA Workstation Installation – Dillner's Accounting Tools

Complete these steps before creating a shortcut and installing Full Contact Accounting on a new workstation.

Open your computer's Control Panel.
Select Programs and Features.
Select Turn Windows features on or off.
Verify .NET Framework 3.5(includes .NET 2.0 and 3.0) and Microsoft XPS Document Writer (or XPS Document Viewer) are selected. Check one or both boxes if needed and click OK to install.

Download the vjredist.exe from the bottom of the page at dillners.com/support/.
Run the file and select Install or Repair and follow the instructions on the screen.

Browse to the Full Contact Accounting directory. (Possibly Dillner's\Full Contact Accounting).
Right-Click on the contactaccountingmulti.exe file and select Run as Administrator from the Menu.

Note: If you receive an error message about the MFC???.dll is not installed or could not be found instead of the dialog in step c, please browse to the Lansupport folder in the Full Contact Accounting directory and right click on setup.exe and run as administrator. This will install the necessary dll files. Return to step a) above and run contactaccountingmulti.exe as administator.
Click OK on the dialog stating that 'Full Contact Accounting needs to install some support files on the workstation. Click OK to proceed'.
Please read the license agreement and click Accept to continue the installation.
The following screen will appear. This process may take a several minutes. Do not interrupt the process.
The Installation Complete dialog will be presented when the installation is complete. Click Close.<>
Select Access In the Connection Properties dialog and Click OK.
Enter your Username and Password.
A dialog asking may open asking you to download and install the File Transfer Utility. Select Yes or OK and follow the prompts.
