Add Upload link to Email Signature - Gmail – Dillner's Accounting Tools

We're making it even easier for your clients and contacts to upload files to your office's Secure Portal!

Here are the steps to add your Upload link to your Email Signature.

Log in to your Secure Portal.
From the left menu, click on the Files drop-down arrow and click the Guest Request link, or click the Guest Request Quick Tile from your Dashboard.
Click on the blue Copy Link button at the top right corner. The message "URL copied to Clipboard" will be briefly displayed.
Minimize your Secure Portal.
Open your Gmail.
Go to Google settings at the top right corner - looks like a sprocket.
Click See All Settings.
Make sure you are on the General tab and scroll down the page to Signature.
Click the Create New button and enter a label in the Name the Signature field. (i.e.: Signature with upload link).
Click on the Create button or click on an existing signature to edit the content by following steps 11 - 17.

Enter your signature and contact info. Double-space using your <enter> key and enter a short, eye-catching sentence to use your link. (i.e., Click HERE to upload a file to our Secure Portal).
Highlight the word for your client or contact to click on (if using the above example, then highlight the word HERE) and click on the hyperlink icon.
Enter the word that you’d like to convert to a link in the “text to display” field. (i.e.: HERE)
Right-click or Cntrl/V in the “To what URL should this link go?” field to Paste the link that was copied from your portal.
Click OK.
If a new signature was created, click on the drop-down arrows under the Signature defaults area in the For New Emails Use and On Reply/Forward Use fields and select your new Signature titles.
Scroll down to the bottom of the Settings page and click SAVE CHANGES.
The files sent to your office using this link will be directed to your Files from Guests tile on your Dashboard or Files from the left menu > Download Guest Files.
