3.0 E-Signature - Step-by-Step for the Non-Portal Signers

This article is designed to walk the Non-Portal user through the E-Signature process.

1. An email notification will be sent to you from the Accounting office once the other signatures have been added to the document.
2. The email subject will read:  (Accounting Office name) sent you a document to review and sign.
3.  Scroll down to click on the "Sign Document as a Non-Portal User" link.
   
    
   
   
4. Enter your Email address and click on the green Generate PIN button.
   
   
5. An email will be generated with a PIN for you to enter to access the document.
   
   
   
   
6. Enter the PIN and click the green Submit button.
   
   
   
   
7. The document will display. The blue arrow will guide you through the document. Click the Signature box for signature options.
   
8. There are four ways you can add your signature. Select the desired signature method tab at the top of the box. You may change the color of the signature by clicking the colored radio buttons. 
9. The four signature options are:
   • Saved—Enter a previously saved signature.
   • Type—Type a signature and select the radio button in the box with the desired font.
   • Draw—Draw a signature with your mouse or touchscreen.
   • Upload—Upload a signature.
     
10. Click Cancel at the bottom left of the page if changes are needed to the spelling or signature.
11. To apply your selected signature to the document, click the blue Save & Insert button at the bottom right corner. The blue arrow will guide you to the Finalize button at the top right corner of the signature page.
12. A window will open, allowing you to confirm your signature. Click the "I agree" checkbox and the Sign button.
    
    
    
    
    
13. The signed document will be automatically sent back to the Accounting office.  You will be taken back to the Files from the Accounting office page to access other files for download.

After the Document is Signed

The Non-Portal signer will receive an email containing a copy of the signed document and the signature log once the document has been signed by all parties.
